Why the BNP are not the solution

POLITICS AS USUAL IS THE PROBLEM,

BUT THE BNP ARE NOT THE SOLUTION

The BNP claim to be an alternative to the big parties but in Nuneaton but the reality is they’ve proved worse than useless at representing ordinary people. One of their councillors didn’t attend any meetings for 6 months, and the other one voted with the Tories almost every time!  The Socialist Party stands against all forms of prejudice, but we understand that working-class people feel betrayed by New Labour and that this has led some to see the BNP as an alternative. With all the big parties virtually identical the BNP may look like they can make a difference, but their economic policies are really the same as the establishment parties and they come with a hidden agenda. The Socialist Party believes that blaming foreigners is a distraction from the real problems facing ordinary people and we fight for decent jobs, schools and housing for all.

Only the Socialist Party has the proven track record of defending working-class interests and consistently voting against privatisation and cuts to our public services.
