Coventry workers take part in walkout against privatisation
Monday 16th January saw HMRC tax workers who are members of the PCS trade union in call centres and enquiry offices have walked out for two half hour stints over the government’s plans to trial two private companies running call handling at two its sites, which could lead to further attempts to privatise services.

Coventry Socialist Party members were out in support this morning and afternoon at Sherbourne House as workers walked out.
Socialist Party members play an active role in the PCS union, both nationally and in Coventry.
