Like Coventry's Socialist Party councillor Dave Nellist, I believe that it's essential for ordinary people to stand against the establishment parties in the forthcoming local elections because they ALL want us to pay for their banking crisis with our jobs, pensions and services. But there IS an alternative to their cuts agenda. Vote AGAINST cuts. Vote FOR a socialist alternative.

‘’ I am standing in these elections to make sure local people have a chance to vote against all the parties who all stand for the same cuts agenda. The closure of the main post office in town and the mail centre on Bishop Street took place under a Labour government and workers need to be reminded of this, along with the fact that telecommunications remain in private hands and the vile Tory anti –trade union laws still exist despite 13 years Labour had in power to change it.
