‘You can’t come along as councillors on November 30th and say you are with council workers against pension cuts and then come a week later to this chamber and pass a document that doesn’t oppose it!’

Coventry Socialists Party Councillor Dave Nellist slamed Coventry councils ruling Labour group on Tuesday 6th December in a full meeting tat saw Labour and the Tories pass a document for a goverment consultation on the local goverment  pension scheme changes - that does not oppose the governments attacks on the pensions of millions of ordinary  workers.
