No2EU - Yes to Democracy Public Meeting

Dave Nellist will speak at a public meeting next week to promote his campaign to be elected to the European Parliament.  Socialist Party Councillor Dave Nellist has been nominated as the lead candidate in the West Midlands for No2EU – Yes to Democracy, a union-backed campaign that aims to highlight the undemocratic nature of the European Union.  No2EU – Yes to Democracy, is a coalition between the Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers Union (RMT) and organisations such as the Socialist Party, Socialist Alliance and others, who wish to offer an alternative to the establishment parties, it also aims to counteract the challenge of the right-wing BNP. The public meeting takes place on Tuesday, May 19, at Methodist Central Hall at 7.00pm.
